From Downtown Revelstoke
The museum is an easy walk or short drive from the town center:

Take Victoria Road west off the Trans‑Canada Highway (Highway 1), then turn onto Track Street West where you'll find the museum just off that junction
From Highway 1 (Trans-Canada Highway):

Take the Revelstoke exit – You'll see signs for "Revelstoke" and "City Centre" as you approach the town.

Exit onto Victoria Road

Continue straight on Victoria Road

Blocked public grade crossings
Under the Grade Crossings Regulations:

Trains can't block a public grade crossing for more than five minutes when a road user needs to pass, unless the train is moving
HOW TO ACCESS THE RAILWAY MUSEUM WHEN THE CROSSING IS BLOCKED
Because we are located on the Canadian Pacific Railway’s busy main line, sometimes our crossing can be blocked due to switching of trains.

Service animals are welcome to the Museum.
ACCESSIBILITY
Accessible parking on site
The Museum building is wheelchair accessible, with ramps and an elevator to move between galleries. At the moment, the steam locomotive and business car, unfortunately, are not wheelchair accessible.
Information panels throughout the galleries are in English, with brochures available in French, Spanish, German, Russian, Dutch and Chinese upon request.
The outdoor yard is partially accessible with paved walkways and a covered gazebo for visitor enjoyment.
